  • How do I burn a smudge stick?
Follow these simple steps: Light the smudge stick over an open flame. Rotate the stick back and forth slowly in the flame. Once the smudge stick is successfully lit, let the stick burn for 30 seconds and lightly blow out the flame. Set your players or intentions as you walk around the room. Let the smoke slowly flow away the negative energy. Depending on the size of the room or place, you may need to relight a few times to finish the ritual. Once finished smudging the room, leave the smudge stick in a heat resistant container until it goes out on its own.

Wait for the soap to cure (approximately 4 to 6 hours).
  • How do I burn Resin Incense?
Follow these simple steps: Use mortar and pestle to grind the resin into smaller pieces. Use a heat resistant container and fill it up with sand. Light up a charcoal tablet until it smolders and carefully place it on the layer of sand. Add a quarter teaspoon of resin to the charcoal. Do not add anymore resin until it’s completely burnt up, no more than a quarter teaspoon at a time. Some brand of charcoal discs or tablets contain additives that may interrupt with the scent of the resin. If that is the case, you may place a small piece of aluminum foil between the charcoal and the resin.

  • How do I revive the rose of jericho?
Place the rose of jericho in a shallow dish or bowl. Add enough water to cover the roots. The plant will start to uncurl in about 4 hours and reach full capacity in a couple of days. Change the water daily. Do not leave in water for more than 7 days. After 7 days, let the plant completely dry out. Can be used and revived several times.
  • Why do my rose of jericho start to mold?
Rose of jericho's natural habitat is in the desert. They thrive in dry weather and can survive with little water through dessication. For this reason, they are not used to be planted in water for long periods of time and will mold if let in water for more than 7 days. It is recommended to let the rose of jericho dry out completely after one week and revive it when you are ready to see it flourish again.
